SUNTRUST CHARITABLE DONATION

SunTrust Bank is offering a special opportunity for charitable organizations, such as the SDHS Band, to receive donations in the amount of $100 for each new SunTrust account opened before March 29, 2008. For SunTrust to donate on your behalf:

  • Open a new personal or business checking account before March 29, 2008
  • Accept a SunTrust Visa Check Card and make any purchase using your new card by May 15, 2008
  • Complete and submit a redemption form by March 15, 2008: Go to suntrust.com/mycause (A search for "Soddy" will bring up the Band Boosters Form or click here to go directly to SDHS Band Boosters Redemption Form Page) and donate $100 OR call 866.266.2802 to complete your redemption over the phone

Guidelines for Getting the Donation Posted to Your Student's Account

  1. Any account opened may be designated to the student's individual account-not the general fund.  This means that every free checking account that is opened at SunTrust (from your family and/or friends between now and March 29 can earn your student $100.00 towards their account.
  2. After the account is opened we will track the opening of the accounts based on the information given directly from you.  Please fill out the form below.  We will need the name on the account, the students name and the last 4 digits of the account number.  For security reasons we do not want any other information.
  3. Any funds that come into the band that are not earmarked specifically for a student will go to the general fund.  We will not track down or chase down the donater.  It will be your responsibility to notify us.
