To make a payment toward the 2026 Universal Trip, please send cash or check (Made out to SDHS Band Boosters) to the band room in an envelope with your child's name on it. They can place it in the payment box at the bottom of the stairs to the band office.

2026 UNIVERSAL TRIP INFORMATION
- REMEMBER THAT THIS TRIP IS OPTIONAL.
- Student total cost is $996. This is based on 38-40 people traveling per bus. Costs will be adjusted following the first payment to reflect the number of people traveling.
- Chaperone/Parent total cost - see Trip Information in Documents section. Costs will be adjusted following the first payment to reflect the number of people traveling.
- Please make sure that your band fees for the 2025 season and any past seasons are paid in full (or you are caught up on payments if paying monthly) before making Universal payments. We will verify band fee balances before applying payments to the trip. If there is an outstanding band fee balance, we will apply any Universal payments to that first before applying it to the trip.
- NO ONLINE PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE UNIVERSAL TRIP. Credit card payments can be accepted if arrangements are made with the band boosters. Please contact Mandy Suttles for more information. Transaction percentage fees will apply for credit card payments and cannot be refunded for any reason.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Who gets to go? In order for students to participate in any trip with the Soddy-Daisy Band program, students must be enrolled in band for the entire school year (both semesters). The only exception to this rule are students that are in Color Guard that do NOT play a band instrument during the second semester.
- What is the cost? The cost is estimated to be about $996.00 per student. Students and chaperones will have 3 payments. All band fees must be paid in full (or on schedule if paying monthly) before any money will be credited toward the trip.
- What does the cost include? It includes all transportation fees for the drivers, buses and gas, hotel for 4 nights, breakfast each morning at the hotel, a 3 day Park-Hopper Pass, and tour guide for the duration of the trip.
- Who gets to chaperone? Parents/Legal Guardians of Trojan Band members get to chaperone. Former students and siblings of students are not allowed to chaperone.
- Will students be allowed to walk around Universal by themselves? Yes and No. Safety is our #1 priority. Students will be in groups of 4 or more, and each group will have an adult chaperone they must check in with while in the parks. They will be allowed to go around the parks without their chaperone, but must check-in with the chaperones at specified times throughout the day.
- Will there be a nurse on the trip to help with medicines and emergencies? Yes. We will have a band parent/HCS employee that is a Doctor/Registered Nurse.
