MARCH 14, 2007: Symphonic Band receives 1's in the ETSBOA Spring Concert Festival held at the Fine Arts Center in UTC, Chattanooga, TN.
MARCH 13, 2007: Concert Band receives 1's in the ETSBOA Spring Concert Festival held at the Fine Arts Center in UTC, Chattanooga, TN.
FEBRUARY 1 - 3, 2007: The following students were accepted to All-State East Senior Clinic: Brady Arendale, Phillip Bowman, Stacey Bunch, Caleb Hall, Josh Mickel, Amanda Pioth, Adam Smithson, Nick Wysong.
NOVEMBER 11, 2006: 4th Place at the USSBA National Championship held at the Naval Academey in Annapolis, MD.
OCTOBER 28, 2006: 1st Place at the Silver Level USSBA Competition in Madisonville, TN
OCTOBER 21, 2006: STATE CHAMPIONS in the USSBA Southern States Championship held at Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, TN.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2006: 2nd Place in the Bradley Central High School USSBA Competition in Cleveland, TN

OCTOBER 23, 2004: Superior Field Commanders, Superior Band, AND Superior Guard during the 2004 Music City Invitational Prelims. The Band made it to Finals.

Chattanooga Youth Symphony and Philaharmonic: Jon Wysong, Drew Buckner, Jayna Yates, Stacey Bunch, Alex Hickman, and Jonathan Rodery
Alex Hickman: Alex Hickman was this years recipient of the "Russell Scholarship" for continuing music education. The scholarship is awarded to students who show outstanding talent in Music.
Chattanooga Independent Indoor Percussion Ensemble: 16 SDHS Percussion students participated in the Indoor Drumline: Andrew Eldridge, Travis Williams, Gabe Johnson, Jessica Barnett, Chris Freeman, Brandon Jones, Jeff McSpadden, Randall Moore, Timmy Millsaps, Jared Horner, Sarah Williams, Marcus Alcantara, Danny Bailey, Andy Bailey, Hayden Smith and Wesley Hicks. In the Independent Marching "A" Competition, the Ensemble took 4th Place in Winter Guard International in Dayton, OH and 1st Place in Southeastern Color Guard Circuit in Chattanooga, TN.

Senior Clinic: Randi Chastain, Hayley Greer, Hannah Norris, Brett Taylor, Michael Williams, Eric Reed, Jon Wysong, Drew Buckner, Jayna Yates, and Tobin Shoemate
Liz Bassett became the 2005 Junior Miss.
Jayna Yates qualified for the "State Governor's School of Music."
Leah Gates qualified as a semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program.
