Kudos to Greg Baucom!!
The National Merit Commended Scholar program has recognized Greg Baucom for scoring in the top 2% on the PSAT national exam. Out of the 1.5 million students that took the test across the nation, Greg placed in the top 2% on the national exam. Only 55,000 students are chosen for this for the National Merit Program and 34,000 are then selected to the next level as a Commended Scholar. Be sure to congratulate Greg on a job well done on the PSAT.

October 10, 2015
Thursday (10/8/15), at 8:30 a.m. in the band room, we will be selling tickets to ride the bus to the BOA competition. They will be $20.00 each. Once we arrive at Jacksonville, the admission ticket will be around $18.00 for stadium seating.
The bus seat tickets will be on a 1st come, 1st served basis.

- JSU Marching Southerners – 4:15pm
- Preliminary awards – 4:30pm
- Gates re-open for finals – 6:45pm

Band Alumni at Homecoming
A reception area will be set up for band alumni at the football stadium Friday night at the Homecoming game. Look for the tent. It will NOT be in the band room.
