Band Fee Payments
While we wish that band could be completely 'free', the simple fact is that it costs money to run a quality band program. The Band Fee helps covers the costs of the band from year to year including: New Instruments, band owned instrument repairs, band camp, staff, supplies, color guard equipment, competition expenses (entries and travel), uniform cleaning, and large items such as equipment trucks and large band instruments (tubas, percussion, etc)
Band Fee Payments and fundraising provide the monies to support the Soddy Daisy Band Program. All students are responsible for paying for any personal items in which they will keep (marching shoes, gloves, socks, Concert Dress, Concert Tux, etc).
These band fee payments do NOT include the cost of any special TRIP the band takes.
Band Fees for the 2024-2025 school year are as follows:
$ 500 payable in installments
$250 for Non-Marching Members (Athletic Exemption Only - must be pre-approved by director)
* $50 Early Payment Discount if paid in full before July 31st.
** $25 Multiple Student Discount for more than 1 student in the program
$100 before July 31st
$100 before August 31st
$100 before September 30th
$100 before October 31st
$100 before November 30th
ALL FEES PAID IN FULL BY DECEMBER 31st
Payment Options:
You can use our online payment option by using your VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express debit or credit card. All payments will charge a small finance charge for using the service.

Please make sure the student’s name is on the payment along with their grade.

Also, anyone who has the ability and would like to donate towards a needy student's Band Fees may write a check to the SDHS Band Boosters and send it with your child to drop it in the fees box in the Band Room.
Please note on the check in the memo line that it is for a Band Fee Donation.
