Chattanooga Ironman

For several years now, the SDHS Band Boosters have run an Aid Station at the Little Debbie Ironman competition in downtown Chattanooga, typically in September.  This event requires FULL BOOSTER PARTICIPATION.  This is an all day competition with volunteer opportunities divided in to shifts.  The Band students play music for the competitors while the parents provide the aid to the competitors - Water, Gatorade, fruit, ice, etc....  The Band earns money for working the station and earns EXTRA funds if it wins an award like Top Aid Station - which happened in 2017!  Each year there is a theme to the aid station.  Some past years were: Blues Brothers, Superheroes, and Chattanooga Choo Choo.  All proceeds go to the General Band Fund.
